NEP 2020 The Road Ahead

GNIOT MBA Institute had organized a webinar on “NEP 2020: The Road Ahead” on 10/12/22 at 10:00am which was attended by the faculty members. The Guest Speaker was Prof (Dr) Ipshita Bansal, Professor and Dean with Department of Management Studies at Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya, Sonipat Haryana. The webinar was very informative and offered clarity on the various nuances of the New Education Policy’2020.

From creating an Ecosystem of Indianized Education, mending the fragmentation amongst the state and central universities, to giving more autonomy to the private institutions for subjects like, offering distance learning programs, designing own course structures and curriculum, etc. to one college for ever district, the webinar answered them all. Further key highlights include more flexibility in the education system, imparting education in regional languages, encouraging vocational courses more facilitating employment opportunities, internationalization of the education system, more freedom for the students for picking subjects from different streams, sending faculty and student to foreign land and welcoming foreign students and faculty members for the Indian institutions, creating courses for the foreign students(Indian yoga/ayurveda/music etc.), Multiple Entry and Exit System (MEES) for the students, more impetus on Indian Value system through imparting of Universal Human Values to faculty and students, etc. To conclude one can, say that the major intent of the NEP 2020 is to make India as the VISHWA GURU as she was once in the past!
