World Heart Day 2024

World Heart Day is celebrated annually on September 29 to raise awareness about cardiovascular diseases and promote heart health. This year, the theme is "Use Heart to Connect," focusing on the importance of maintaining a healthy heart through lifestyle changes.

The students of B.Sc Nursing 2nd  year from GNIOT Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (GIMSAR)  organized an awareness program on World heart day at Neo  Hospital which was supervised  by Mrs. Sakshi sood (Assistant professor) and Mrs. Neeru (Assistant professor)  and at Yatharth Hospital which was supervised by Mr. Fazal (Assistant professor) and Vastavi gupta (Nursing tutor) on *1st october 2024.
 
 The main purpose was to successfully attracted numerous participants and increased awareness about heart health.So, the students participated in various activities like Poster Presentation, Slogan Recitation, Role play and health education. This programme was open for the patients, their attendants and health care professionals present at the hospital.

 It was much appreciated by the hospital staff and the audience.World Heart Day 2024 was an impactful event that successfully raised awareness about cardiovascular health. The participation of staff, and attendants underscored the collective effort required to combat heart disease.
