Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is inspired by the vision of transformational change in rural development processes by leveraging knowledge institutions to help build the architecture of an Inclusive India.

To undertake the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, GNIOT Institute of Professional Studies (GIPS) is pleased to adopt five neighbouring villages for the implementation of developmental programmes for the welfare of the residents of the villages.

On 10th May, 2022, Dr. Savita Mohan, Principal – GIPS along with the members of Prayas – The Social Club of GIPS had organized an Awareness Campaign About Beti Padhao Beti Bachao at Salempur Gurjar, a village adopted under UBA. There we interacted with Shri Balbir Pradhan – Pradhan of Imalayaka Village, Mr. Ashok Bhati – Teacher from Salempur Gurjar, Mr. Dinesh Arya, Mr. Amit Pehalwaan, students, their parents, members of the panchayat, school management and sensitized them regarding importance of education for girls and how it can create a difference for their future.

The session was an interactive once and all suggestions were considered in a positively.

We at GIPS will strive hard to provide the basic Right to Education to each and every child.
