Understanding LIC - Initial Public Offering

With this aim in mind “FINQUISITIVE” the Finance Club of Greater Noida Institute of Professional Studies has successfully organized a session on “Understanding LIC - Initial Public Offering” on June 28, 2022.

The session begins with the blessings of Goddess Saraswati in the presence of Principal Dr. Savita Mohan (Principal GIPS), Dean Academic Dr. Avijit Dey, HOD B.COM Dr. Shyam Kumar, HOD BBA Dr. Himanshu Mittal, HOD BCA Prof. V.K. Pallaw, faculties, and students.

Prof. (Dr.) Savita Mohan addressed students by motivating them to learn new things from this session such as the operations of the stock exchange market, the role of listed and unlisted companies, and the detailed knowledge of LIC the biggest Insurance Corporation of India “Zindagi Ke Saath Bhi, Zindagi ke baad bhi”. She emphasized that this session will be fruitful especially for the students of commerce & finance discipline to pull themselves towards the new heights.

The main objective of the esteemed resource person of the session Prof. (Dr.) Shyam Kumar Head of the department of B.COM is to acknowledge the students about the key role of stock market operations, its process, and a detailed analysis of LIC IPO.

He focused on the precautions taken up by the shareholders while investing in the stock market.

The event was well coordinated by the members of the Finance club. The entire session was very informative, interactive, and knowledgeable for all the students of BBA, BCA, B.COM, and B.SC. More than 90 students have participated in this session with great enthusiasm and zeal.

Eventually, Prof. Priyanka Maheshwari delivered the vote of thanks to the Hon'ble Principal, Dean, Resource person, all heads, faculty, and students for their valuable time and support in making the event successful.
