A Very Auspicious Tree Plantation Activity

A very auspicious tree plantation activity was organized today by Mechanical Engineering Department under the aegis of Techmechanizer’s club in GNIOT Engineering Institute to create an awareness regarding climate change and its adverse effect on us. The program is started at 10:00 AM.  The program was started in the presence of director GNIOT (Engg. Inst.) Dr. Dhiraj Gupta, Dean Academics Dr.Sanjay Kumar Katiyar and HoD(ME) Dr. Iqbal Ahmed Khan. A sound range of plants were planted in the college garden to create awareness about saving trees. By the end of the tree plantation program we all were exhausted and want to sit under the trees already present in the garden. Director Sir encouraged students by discussing the benefits of planting trees and how it helps cleaning the environment and also their importance in the field of Pharmacy as medicinal plants. We as an Institute pledged to plant as many trees as possible near our areas so as to create a very healthy environment and contribute in minimizing the climate changes. We hope that everybody plants a tree in their lifetime and contribute in conserving the nature. At the time of tree plantation HoD (EE), Faculty, staff and Students were also present for this noble cause.
