GNIOT- MBA Institute conducted its first day of Orientation Programme "ARABHDA 2021" for its first year admitted students of MBA Programme. The programme is spread across 4 days from October 26, 2021 till October 29, 2021. Orientation programmes plays a vital role in transition of students, to make this transition and journey memorable all the newly admitted students were shared a glimpse of life @ GNIOT which they all were looking forward anxiously. The programme started with Lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries present in the orientation programme. After this Welcome address was given by Dr. Savita Mohan Director-MBA Institute. She welcomed the student's and enlightened them with her motivational speech covering each and every aspects of all round development of the students. There were three experts who came and delivered their expert talk today. Chief Guest Lt. Gen Manvender Singh, (PVSM, AVSM, VSM (Retd.) Principal Advisor delivered his session on "Right Attitude will set the Altitude". He appealed to the students to be custodians of the nation and be ethical not only in professing but by way of conduct as well. He emphasized that students should follow the principle of "OODS- Observe, Orient, Decide and Action". The Guest of Honour for the day was Mr. Suneel Kumar Arora (IDSE Advisor National Water Mission) Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India. He spoke on "Resource Management-Jal Shakti Abhiyan: A Peoples Movement". He shared his insights on various projects being undertaken by Government on "Jal Jeevan Mission". He shared some astonishing facts on water and its current availability throughout the nation. He urged all the members of the audiences to use water wisely and make best use of this natural resource. The Guest of Honour for the day Mr. Anand Prakash, (CEO-Farm For Full Potential, Convener India Quality Associations), deliberated on the topic of "The Road to Self Leadership Development". Sir in his address spoke on ASK- Attitude, Skill and Knowledge. His session was interactive wherein he focussed on what needs to be done to inculcate right attitude and knowledge along with what as a students they should practice so as to scale new heights for their self and career development. The GNIOT MBA institute Brochure, containing the information & glimpses of life at campus was released by the galaxy of experts. The Vote of Thanks was extended by Dr. Avijit Dey (Head of the Department), MBA Institute. Post Lunch an interactive session was conducted wherein the newly admitted student’s gave their introduction and shared experience.
