The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized “Orientation Program – A Step towards Industry- 4.0” on 8th Sept., 2022. Dr. Iqbal Ahmed Khan, HOD-ME has inaugurated the program with welcome note. He shared the vision and mission of department to the students. He presented the paradise of research achieved by department as eight research papers, one book and three patents have been published by the students and faculties of the department in last one year. He demonstrated concept of Industry 4.0 implementation in modern industries. He emphasized the implementation of smart manufacturing and techniques in conventional manufacturing. Dr. Rajeev Kumar has moderated the program. He represented the objectives of the program, development of skills, future planned activities, importance of training programs and placement activities. The mentors, Mr. Sandeep Chauhan and Mr. G. S. Bhati have focused on the role of attendance, research work, placement and lab updation in mechanical engineering department. The vote of thanks to all the faculty members is given by Dr. Rajeev Kumar.
