Nasha Mukt Bharat Pledge on Independence Day

"PRAYAS" Social Club of GNIOT Institute of Professional Studies organized a pledge ceremony as part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.

This event, held today in observance of the 78th Independence Day celebration in 2024, saw the active participation of over a hundred students. They took a solemn vow to abstain from narcotics and contribute to creating a drug-free society.
The ceremony was attended by the Principal of GIPS, Dr. Savita Mohan, along with Heads of Departments, faculty members, and students. The Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, initiated in 2020 by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, is a significant national campaign aimed at achieving a drug-free India, with active involvement from youth, women, and community members. 
The pledge taken today was a powerful reaffirmation of their commitment to supporting this national mission and contributing to a healthier, addiction-free society.
