Education, Govt. of India) in association with Computer Society of India, Ghaziabad Chapter, GNIOT- Business Incubation Center (an Initiative of Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India) and Department of Information Technology (Greater Noida Institute of technology- GNIOT) organized a live workshop on "Innovation and startup Ecosystem" on 29-07-2021 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The Speaker for the session was Ms. Shivaarti Bajaj(Counsellor, Yednap Legal). Ms. Shivaarti Bajaj enlightened the knowledge on Startup Ecosystem and Key Startup Compliances. She also explained that What are Intellectual Properties and What are Intellectual Property Rights? She has cleared that how one product can be registered as a trade mark? A start-up ecosystem is formed by people, startups in their various stages and various types of organizations in a location (physical and/or virtual), interacting as a system to create new startup companies. Further she added definition of Novelty as a “New Invention” means any invention or technology which has not been anticipated by publication in any document or used in the country or elsewhere in the world before the date of filing of patent application with complete specification, i.e. the subject matter has not fallen in public domain or that it does not form part of the state of the art. The students participated with full enthusiasm. They got the knowledge, inspiration and motivation from the speaker of the session.
