Lectures by Eminent People

Under SIP 2022-23, on the 4th day, an expert lecture was organised under the category ' Lectures by Eminent People ' for the first year students. The Guest lecture was delivered by Mr. Anand Kumar Singh, Associate General Manager- Enterprise Architecture at Technip Energies and the topic was 'Decoding Data Science (Exploring Learning and Career Path)'.

First of all our Hon'ble Deans 1st Year Dr. B. S. Chauhan Sir and Dr. A. P. Singh Sir  formally welcomed the expert speaker.
Then, Dr. A.P.Singh, Dean ,B.tech 1st year highlighted various aspects of the student induction program  and the need for the same . He asked students to be more immersive in the program as it is to make them feel more comfortable and aquaint them with the high grade infrastructure provided by the institute. He also elaborated the different aspects of the induction program.
Then ,Mr.Anand Kumar Singh told the students the importance of Entrepreneurship, how to select objective on the basis of SMART analysis. He also enlightened the students about Computer Science as a big house and its integral components like Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Deep Learning.

The program concluded with the felicitation of the expert speaker by Dr. B. S. Chauhan and Dr. A. P. Singh, Deans, B.tech 1st year.  The program was managed by Ms Minakshi Awasthi and Ms Vasudha Tiwari. Dr. Shivani Kaul , anchored the  program effectively in a delightful atmosphere and proposed the vote of thanks.
