Industrial Visit to Kasna Sewage Treatment Plant

Sewage Treatment Plant (137 MLD) at Kasna

Department of Civil Engineering, GNIOT, in association with Nirman Club organised an Industrial Visit for the 3rd & 4th year on 06th December  2023 for 2nd & 3rd year students. The students visited a Sewage Treatment Plant (137 MLD) at Kasna, Greater Noida under Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority. The industrial visit was conducted to give the students, a practical understanding of the Sewage Disposal System and to learn the disposal process. Environmental Impact Assessment is an important part of any construction project. With the help of this visit, the students learned the relevance of an environmental assessment report. We would like to thank GNIOT Management & Hon' Director  Prof. (Dr.) Dhiraj Gupta and HOD-CE Prof. (Dr.) Shiv Kumar for giving us the opportunity to conduct this visit.
