On 11 October 2023, under Student Induction Program 23-24, Expert Talk on the topic Career Options in Data Science/Machine Learning:Pathways and Opportunities was held from 11.00-1.00 pm. The lecture was conducted by Mr Harshwardhan Mishra, Data Scientist, Cloud Analogy.
Expert talk started with the auspicious lamp lighting to the goddess Saraswati. In his inaugural speech Dr B S Chauhan, welcomed the fresher students on behalf of the entire GNIOT family. He discussed the objectives of SIP and the various activities to be conducted during this SIP program.
Mr Harshwardhan interacted with students about AI, Data Science, Machine learning, deep learning, Generative AI, Skill requirements, Career Benefits, Employment Pathways, Success formula, Job Roles, Career Advancements and many more.
More than 145 students of B. Tech first year attended and expert talk and were immensely benefitted. 
The program was organised by first year faculty members, Ms Vasudha Tiwari, Ms Minakshi Awasthi, Mr Sachin and Ms Nidhi Simon anchored the program in an effective and proposed vote of thanks. Senior students also helped in coordination of the program.
