GIPS successfully completed its FDP Program

Greater Noida Institute of Professional Studies successfully completed its FDP Program on “Qualitative Data and Meta Analysis” held from 7th to 11th March,2022. The resource person of the 5 days programme was Dr. Dhaval Maheta from Veer Narmada South Gujrat University, Surat. Sir in his sessions guided faculty members and research scholars in using latest software’s like Nvivo, Jamovi, Biblioshiny, R Studio etc. His session today deliberated on tools and techniques pertaining to data encoding and analysis using JAMOVI software. He has imparted latest tools and techniques knowledge to the participants which are readily available free of cost. He provided hands on experience on Installing R and RStudio on Windows, data porting from data source to excel. Indexing and Slicing Data Frames, Creating Matrices using Data Frames, Merging and Importing Data etc. to the participants and addressed all the queries successfully.

The programme saw registration of 90 academicians and research scholars across states like Tamil N?du, Bengaluru, Haryana, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and also had international participants. It was moderated by Prof. Taru Maheshwari & Vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Avijit Dey, Dean- GIPS. The FDP received a lot of positive feedback and appreciation from faculty members and research scholars from many universities of India and abroad. Today, on the final day of the program, the knowledge gained from the earlier events was consolidated and the participants were infused with high acumen which will assist them in further progression in academic research
