Independence Day holds significance beyond merely raising our national flag and relishing a day of leisure. It stands as a reminder of the sacrifices undertaken by our ancestors to secure the liberty of our cherished nation. Today, the GNIOT Institute of Professional Studies commemorated this significant event. The occasion commenced with a ceremonial lighting of the lamp, a symbol of auspiciousness, and was followed by an inspiring speech delivered by Principal Dr. Savita Mohan. In her address, she emphasized the importance of paying tribute and showing reverence to the valiant freedom fighters who dedicated their lives to secure India's independence. The proceedings were enriched by captivating performances, including melodious singing, graceful dancing, and a fervent patriotic speech, all presented by the talented students of GIPS.

As we observe this day, let us pay homage to the selfless soldiers who exhibited unvacillating courage in safeguarding our nation and bestowing upon us the precious gift of freedom.
