GIMSAR Hosts Successful Palliative Care Workshop in Collaboration with CanSupport

GIMSAR, Greater Noida has Organised a 3 days workshop  on "Palliative Care" in collaboration with " CanSupport " ( Cannadian Support for Palliative care ) under the guidance of Prof. Pranati Barua, Director GIMSAR and Dr. Manju Rajput, Principal GIMSAR which was a resounding success.
 A huge thanks to CanSupport team for their contribution to enlighten our students regarding the most vital and significant topic.
 The purpose of a palliative care workshop is to educate and empower healthcare professionals and students with the knowledge and skills to improve the quality of life for patients and their families facing life-limiting illnesses, focusing on symptom management, communication and psychosocial support.
Various topics were taken on the Palliative Care by CanSupport team through Power point presentation, interactive session and role play. Stress relieving laughter therapy was organized by laughter club members in association with CanSupport.
Certificates  awarded to all the participants by CanSupport team.
It was an impactful event that successfully raised awareness about Palliative Care. The participation of  staff, students  underscored the collective effort required to learn about Palliative Care.
