First Day of Orientation Programme

"It’s time for you to spread your wings and fly high up in the sky where there is no limit”.

Following the same spirit and philosophy in mind GNIOT- IPS, Greater Noida organized its First Day of Orientation Programme “ARABDHA  2022: A New Beginning”, for the First-year students  of BBA on September 27, 2022.
The session was inaugurated with the auspicious Lamp Lighting ceremony accompanied by Saraswati Vandana remembering the Almighty.  
Thereafter, the welcome address of the program was given by the Principal (GIPS) Prof. (Dr.) Savita Mohan. She majorly discussed how students should enlighten their future. She deliberated on the fact that students should aim high and set goals.
  Followed by it, Student’s handbook was revealed. The singing performance given by seniors to welcome and motivate the juniors was very melodious and joyous which was liked by all.

The session was then handed over to our distinguished Chief Guest Shri Prem P Akhauri, GM & Head HR L&T MHI Power.  He delivered a talk on the concept of Time Management and Level of Competency.

The next distinguished to honor us with his presence today as the Guest of honor was Commander Sudhir  Kumar (Retd- Indian Navy) delivered a talk on “Importance of Physical Fitness in our life”. In his address spoke people were mentally affected because of the pandemic and the problems related to their health started increasing eventually. He focused on maintaining a  balance that will always lead you toward a happier life.
The event was organized under the profound guidance of our Principal (GIPS) Prof. (Dr.) Savita Mohan Ma’am.
The event entered a brief hiatus with a vote of thanks by Dr. Himanshu Mittal, Head of Department, BBA, and thereafter all students proceeded to break for Lunch.  
Overall it was a day which the students will hold high in estimation till a long time to go.
