FDP Inauguration

GNIOT Institute of Professional Studies is delighted to announce the inauguration of a ten-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on "Data Mining and Data Analytics". Organised in collaboration with the E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee—an initiative of MeitY, Government of India—the programme was inaugurated under the esteemed guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Savita Mohan, Principal of GIPS.
This FDP aims to equip faculty members with comprehensive theoretical knowledge and practical expertise in data mining, analytics, and Python programming. 

It has attracted a diverse group of academicians and research scholars from across the country, making it a hub of intellectual exchange and learning.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Savita Mohan and Prof. Sanjeev Manhas, Principal Investigator, E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, who also delivered the keynote address. The session featured inspiring insights from distinguished speakers, including:
•    Prof. Partha Pratim Roy, Associate Professor, Department of CSE, IIT Roorkee
•    Dr. Vijay Kumar, Head of IT, B.R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar
The first day of the FDP laid a strong foundation for the days ahead, offering a blend of classroom learning and hands-on experience. This programme promises to be a transformative journey for all involved, setting the stage for cutting-edge advancements in data mining and analytics.
