Faculty Training on Simulation-Based Learning

" Empowering Learners Through Realistic Experiences for Safer, Smarter, and Skillful Practice" 

From 02 to 07 December, 2024, Indian Nursing council organised ToT Simulation Based Learning at National Reference Simulation centre in SGT University, Gurugram. From GIMSAR two faculties, Mr. Fazl Ur Rahman Wani (Assistant Professor) and Ms. Sakshi Sood (Assistant Professor) participated in the training programme.

In this training faculties learnt about checklist, OSCE and simulation related to nursing and health care settings. The Indian Nursing Council has hired a professional team from the different specialties to empower professional skill growth. The most of the session was simulation-based learning in healthcare, where clinical competence is critical. This training session empowered the teaching learning skill using hight fidelity manikins, virtual reality and simulated environment.

After the whole 7 days session participants were awarded with the certificate. The participation in this ToT simulation based leaning program was possible due to the guidance and motivation given by Prof. Pranati Baurua (Director GIMSAR) and Dr. Manju Rajput (Principal GIMSAR). The session was completed successfully.
