Activity:- Visit to India Expo Mart exhibition on Electric Vehicle Technology.

Participants:- 4th, 3rd and 2nd Year students of Mechanical Engineering Deptt.

About the activity:

Department of Mechanical engineering has been organized a visit to IEML, Greater Noida for our undergraduate students on 07th and 8th September 2022. Visit was very fruitful as it’s exposed the industrial exploration and new advancements in Electric Vehicle Technology and motivated the students to think about the implementation of theoretical knowledge upon practical application. This visit provide the advantage of exploration to our students about the latest technologies in the field of electric vehicles like, Different types of Battery modules based on new IP 67 and IP68 rating, Water proof BLDC motor, Fast Chargers and the vehicle charging controllers etc. Students also learned about the challenges still persistant with electric vehicles and their recent modifications supported by recent research work going on in the field of electric vehicle.

We have a detail discussion with one of our Alumnus(2022) Mr. Ashish Shakya, working as Engineer in R&D department of reputed Electric vehicle manufacturing company based on Sonipat Haryana. He provide our student with detailed specifications of their company product with a demonstration of 60KW Fast charger.

The visit was inaugurated by our HOD(ME) Prof.(Dr.) Iqbal Ahamd Khan and Faculty members of the department. The visit was escorted by Dr. Rajeev Kumar, Mr. S.Q. Husain and Mr. Trinath Mahala About 40 students have attended the traning program.
