ECE Students Visit Indian Meteorological Department

The Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) department at GNIOT organized an industrial visit to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) in Delhi on 7th October 2024, where 48 students gained insights into how advanced technology supports meteorology and weather forecasting.

Students explored satellite systems, radars, and real-time data collection, and interacted with IMD experts to understand the role of electronics and communication in meteorology. This visit provided valuable practical exposure and connected theoretical learning to real-world applications.
