Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized one day talk on ‘Demystifying CNN Architecture with image processing’ on 24th September 2022. The key speaker of the session was Mr. Vishwas Narayan, working as AI Developer in Azdev India lead Bangalore, India.

Mr. Vishwas started his talk with an overview on computer vision, and various existing ML Algorithms for image classification, segmentation, localization, and detection of images. Then after he described about convolution Networks are, how they function, how they can be used and how they are so powerful as compared to existing ML algorithms. Finally, he concluded his talk with the application of the CNN Algorithm in Image processing such as classification of images, segmentation of images, and detection of images using the CNN Algorithm.
The entire session was very interactive and knowledgeable for both students as well as for faculty members. The whole session was attended by more than 55 Students and all faculty members of the ECE Department.
