Reverberating the same spirit and philosophy in mind GNIOT- IPS, Greater Noida organized its First Day of Orientation Programme “ARABDHA  2022: A New Beginning”, for the BCA & BSc (Cs) 1st-year students on September 20, 2022.
The session was inaugurated with the auspicious Lamp Lighting ceremony remembering the Almighty. Thereafter, the welcome address of the program was given by the Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Savita Mohan, majorly discussed how students should enlighten their future. She deliberated on the fact that students should have SPARK in their life and should always lay efforts in putting in their best efforts.
  Followed by it, the student’s handbook was revealed. The singing performance given by seniors to welcome and motivate the juniors was very melodious and exhilarated which was liked by all.
The session was then handed over to our distinguished Chief Guest Dr. Prakhar Viplav Gupta, IRS Commissioner of Income Tax UP west Region, Kanpur.
  He delivered a talk on the concept of living a healthy and stress-free life. He stressed eating healthy, organic, and satvik food. The Guest of honor, Ms. Madulika Makar, Director (Mirus Solutions) delivered a talk on “Creating values @ you and employers” wherein she in her interactive session focused on professional grooming and stressed the skills to be an entrepreneur.
The Guest of honor, Mr. Neeraj Srivastava, Director (Glow Rise Solutions Pvt Ltd.) delivered a talk on “Neuro Linguistics Programming”.
He, in his address, spoke on “Improvement, Focus, and Concentration – NLP” which has specially designed exercises that help students to improve their focus and concentration. This also helps them in studying, and learning, while doing any lab experiments, during examinations, etc.
The event was organized under the profound guidance of our Principal (GIPS) Prof. (Dr.) Savita Mohan Ma’am.
A vote of thanks was extended by Mr. V.K. Pallaw, Head of Department, BCA.
Overall, it was a day that the students will cherish for a long time to come.
