ARABDHA  2022 A New Beginning

Love of natural objects, and the depth, as well as exuberance and refinement of mind, produced by an intelligent delight in scenery, are elements of the first importance in the education of the youth.

Keeping the same ethos GNIOT- IPS, Greater Noida conducted its 4th Day of Orientation Programme ARABDHA  2022: A New Beginning, for the BCA & BSc (CS) First Year students on September 23, 2022.

The day was planned for a visit to the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA). The museum was located in Noida, which is a philanthropic initiative in art, started by Ms. Kiran Nadar, trustee of the Shiv Nadar Foundation and Chairperson, KNMA.

It is not a museum, it is not a place of artifacts; it’s a place of ideas and knowledge leading from darkness to light.
  
The museum is a witness of modern art as well as a blend of Indian ancient history, which is not based on, but a metaphor a reference to its social-historical context representing the agricultural working class.
How farmers use to dwell and how the work impacted their physical structures, which were displayed through pictures in the museum specifically of the backbone. The traditional textile patterns and intricately designed cotton sarees were displayed as backdrops for students to appreciate our traditional legacy. The ancient culture of Buddhism was displayed through numerous patterned cotton flags all in white color. The museum had a spectacular display of various authors and their famous writings.
The core collection of the Institution comprised of post-independence 20th-century painters, but the museum also had a wide display & exhibit of young contemporary artists as well.
Despite drizzling, students were enthralled by the excursion. 191 students were accompanied by 8 faculty members.

The event was organized under the profound and effectual guidance of our Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Savita Mohan Maam.

It was a day wherein the freshers had an enriching experience that would surely leave a lingering impression on their minds.
