Hirnouti Village, Sikandrabad, Bulandshahr.

The Uprise Club of the DCA Department, in proud collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), successfully conducted a Village Survey and Awareness Program on the theme:
"Solar Energy: Affordable and Sustainable Power for a Brighter Future" on 9th April 2025 in Hirnouti Village, Sikandrabad, Bulandshahr.

This impactful initiative was carried out under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA)—a transformative mission by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, designed to bridge the gap between higher educational institutions and rural communities for sustainable and inclusive development.

The program focused on introducing the local villagers to the practical, economic, and environmental benefits of adopting solar energy, while also highlighting the various government schemes that support its implementation. Through engaging discussions and interactive sessions, the team succeeded in not only educating but also empowering the community with knowledge that promotes long-term self-sufficiency.

✅ Key Objectives Achieved:

  1. Raised awareness on the importance and use of solar energy.

  2. Promoted solar power as an affordable and accessible solution for rural households.

  3. Highlighted the environmental and sustainable advantages of solar technology.

  4. Spread awareness about supportive government initiatives and policies for solar adoption.

This campaign truly reflected the spirit of rural outreach, innovation, and eco-conscious development, aligning with national goals for a greener, brighter, and self-reliant India.
