What 5G TECHNOLOGY
The maximum speed of 5G Technology is 20 Gbps whereas the Maximum Speed of 4G technology is only 1Gbps. 5G Technology promises that there will be no loss in Speed. This speed improves corporate, and academics work efficiency also improves the performance of many other areas like online gaming video conferences and self- driving cars.
5G provides a connected experience from cloud to client and takes connectivity to the next level by delivering a connected experience from the cloud to the client. 5G network are virtualized and software-driven and use cloud technology.
5G network will also facilitate speed with seamless open roaming capabilities between cellular and wi-fi access networks.
5G network Mobile user can connect outsider wireless connection and building under wireless network which can be used without user Interface or user need reenter the device.
Advantages of 5G
The emerging network features less latency, higher capacity, and increased bandwidth compared to 4G. By improving the network, the future will change how people around the world live and work.
Speed Upgrades
5G speed is estimated to be up to 10 Gbps, this speed is 100 times faster than 4G.
Low Latency
The duration of a signal’s journey from its source to its recipient and back is measured by latency. Reducing latency has been a priority for every generation of wireless technology. Data transfer over a 5G network will take less than five milliseconds round trip, even less latency than 4G LTE.
Enhanced Capacity
Though analysts and corporate executives find speed fascinating, one question they have is how 5G will enable firms to expand their technology efforts. Envision use cases for 5G that involve hundreds of machines and thousands of sensors automating supply chain management procedures to ensure products are delivered just in time. Predictive maintenance is also used to reduce work stoppages.
Disadvantages
They are still not widely available, especially in rural regions.
- More transmission antennas are needed for consistent network coverage than with 4G.
- Thus far, gigabit mobile communications haven’t brought much value to customers.
Conclusion
- There will be nearly a 40% rise in hiring in the telecom and allied industries in next few years.
- India is expected to have 900M active internet users by 2025.
- Indians are likely to consume 62 GB of data per month by 2028.
- This technology contributes to GDP in FY 2028.
- The telecom sector is currently valued at Rs 300000cr and is anticipated to grow at a CAGR of nearly 7-9%.
