You must have heard this statement with so much enthusiasm and passion but have you ever realized that how many of these dreams hit reality and how many hit rock bottom.
Budding with a lot of aspirations and thoughts we define our destination however the road map to reach our specific goal sometimes gets distorted, distracted or distributed and we lose our way down the hill. According to Fundamental Research of the Phenomenon of Happiness 2020, a research survey titled – The level of aspiration as an indicator of a person’s desire for financial well-being claimed that an adult is included in three spheres of life: work, the family system, and the leisure space. In each of them, they claim something, strive to obtain something or achieve recognition. This study suggested that, 91% of the respondents have a life purpose. 98% of them report that they do achieve their goals. 24% of the survey participants believe that they have a worse life than they wanted and could live. Ambition and the desire to be the first in any matter are reported by 52% of the respondents. 88% of the respondents believe that if other people can achieve something in life, they can do it too. The presence of positive qualities and positive self-perception was self-reported by 86% of the participants.
So, we need to plan and create definite short term milestones in order to climb the ladder towards success. Start planning in the short term and automatically your long term goals will be taken care of. In today’s scenario when we are aware about the cons of getting a degree during pandemic and confined movements, what is it that will make you stand out from the crowd. Being an entrepreneur or a professional is your choice, but that choice of yours should make a difference.
Start preparing yourself, learn soft skills, and discover your passion, try to find out courses which will complement your field of study and make you stand apart in the market of employment. Seek advice from your Mentors, teachers, parents’ and gather information, use your resources and create a stronger and better version of yourself when time is on your side.
