MR. ROHIT PANDEY (PROFILE)

Mr. Rohit Pandey serves as the Head of Training & Placement at the GNIOT, Greater Noida, India, a leading engineering college under the aegis of the Uttar Pradesh Technical University. Having started his journey in April 2017 as Head Officer at GNIOT, he has led on to make valuable contributions to the institution and to the lives of a number of aspirants.

In his illustrious decade long career, Mr. Pandey has worked extensively in the corporate world in challenging and competitive roles. Through his excellent knowledge about the domain and the urge to constantly learn new things and keep abreast with the latest developments in the industry, he has managed to not only remain relevant but has also carved a niche for himself.

He has built profound expertise in talent search coupled with the sharp skills that have led him to become a successful proponent of scouting meritorious and able aspirants. This is evident from the esteem organizations and companies, Mr. Pandey’s aspirants have been placed. Be it Infosys, Ericsson, Wipro, HCL, Oppo, Reliance, Ashok Leyland, Byju’s, Yamaha to Vivo, TCS, Hercules India, IBM, and NTT Data. Having shaped the careers of over 75 aspirants coming from B.Tech, MCA, MBA, and other such academic backgrounds, Mr. Rohit Pandey has made a trusted name for himself in this field.

As the Head of Corporate Relation Cell with the UNITED Group of Institutions, Greater Noida (Feb 2012-March 2017), Mr. Pandey was a keen contributor in grooming talent and efficiently channelizing the professional aspirations of a number of students. Having hands-on experience in connecting industry to the institute, he has served to bridge the gap between the two and convert aspirant’s passion into their profession. He has achieved this by organizing entrepreneurship programs, guidance and counseling sessions, industry expert lectures, arrange service training program and campus placements.

Mr. Pandey has also had a fruitful stint at IEC Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, as Training and Placement Officer (Sep 2009-Jan 2012) and worked diligently in his capacity towards preparing students to take up the various responsibilities and accountabilities of the corporate world.  

For such relentless professional record and for making integral contributions to the academic counseling field, Mr. Rohit Pandey has also been awarded the ‘Exceptional Work in Education Counseling Award’ by the very distinguished academician, Mr. Anand Kumar (Super 30).

He has opined his insights on ‘Education Management System’ by virtue of working on a module project to develop a software program for institutes to maintain relevant student data, such as, ‘examination management, library data management, time-table management, and student information record.’ Mr. Pandey has also published a paper in the United College Magazine titled, ‘Train the Trainer-Need of the Hour’ and has even presented it in the national seminar held at GNIOT. 

Mr. Rohit Pandey holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Application (MCA) from the Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. Additionally, his keen interest in technological innovation has led him to forthcome with technologies in current recruitment life cycles and advisory services, which helps to multiply the efforts of the clients, candidates, and consultants.

An all-around treasure of dedication, driven attitude and hard work, Mr. Rohit Pandey’s journey can be best summed up in the phrase, ‘With consistent efforts, one can scale great heights’ and this is precisely what he envisions for talented aspirants!
