Seminar on IOT in Electric Vehicles- A revolution

ECE department organized a session on IOT in electric vehicles with Mr.Kartikey Anand, alumni of the department on 19.3.2021 from 11.30 am onwards Director , Dr. Dhiraj Gupta inaugurated the program and enlightened everyone with his knowledgeable words. Mr.Kartikey  took a very energetic interactive session and focused on new evolving technologies in electric vehicles. He compared the various battery components available and shared challenges available for start ups. He also motivated students to work on open source resources to have in depth knowledge.the session earned lot of appreciation from students as it was highly inspirational. The vehicle transport system is rapidly increasing towards a sustainable electric vehicle population. Cloud-based monitoring and management of the smart charger station for electric vehicles (EVs) for the security-driven IoT enabled direct current (DC) fast chargers is an important aspect in EVs. Keeping in view the importance and need of this emerging topic an interactive seminar is being organized by department of Electronics and communication engineering with Industry Expert.

  OUTCOMES

1. IOT architecture of electric vehicles uses the information sensing equipments for information extraction and wireless communication technology for transmission
2. Students gained ideas about different startup opportunities available in the field of EVs
