REPORT: Electronics and Communication Engineering Department organized a Seminar on Emerging Trends and Innovations in Industries through Mr. Arjun Singh, Industry Expert from Samsung Research Institute, Noida on 20.3.2021(10.30 am onwards).About 95 students participated in the event. He discussed how Industries are transitioning to implement industry 4.0 concepts, with a focus on device connectivity and control. Industrial companies and factories are exploring the use of connectivity technologies such as the industrial internet of things (IIoT) and 5G, as well as artificial intelligence (AI), advanced analytics, and robotics.  He explained that AI and ML has already penetrated in our day to day lives and we all need to understand the development part. He focused on how the thousands of startups and scaleups are transforming the future of the industrial workplace. He focused on the need of commercial products like satellite clinic, live facial recognition system, speech to device detection etc.

OUTCOMES

     1.To help students to work on AI and ML applications.

     2.Students gained ideas about how to develop commercial models from prototypes.
