Prof. Mohammad Asim, head of the department of Civil Engineering, obtained for various autonomous institutes and universities. He also completed training course from ERTL(N) Centre STQC Directorate Ministry of Information Technology, He was also a project in-charge in NCPUL, Ministry of HRD, Govt of India before joining GNIOT. He was founder Head of Civil Engineering established Structural Analysis, Fluid Mechanics , Surveying, Transportation Engineering, Soil Mechanics, Environmental Engineering , Building Material and Concrete Lab, and CAD Labs at AFSET and BHCET Dhauj, Faridabad  , he was also founder Head and established Civil Engineering department of JBIT Chakrata Road Dehradun and before joining GNIOT Group he was Head of department in IEC Group of Institutions Greater Noida and established Environmental Engg. and Cad Labs., now developing and improving existing and new labs for B.TECH M.TECH course for Civil Engineering department at GNIOT. He brings wide & varied experience in academic, administration, Industry and R&D. around 17 years. He also published around 09 research papers in different reputed International & National Journals & Conferences in Singapore, China, Malaysia and India. He attended many international and national workshops, seminars, symposiums, FDP and conferences.  He has guided 25 Projects at B Tech level. His area of research interest and specialization are Structural Engineering, Software Engineering and Town Planning. He has published MTU syllabus based book on “Principals of Architecture & Town Planning”. He is an examiner and paper setter for various autonomous institute and universities. His work on ESRCTOOL using a tool to estimate software risk & cost is internationally acclaimed and published. He has been appointed as Reviewer of Technical committee for International conference on computer technology and Development ICCTD 2011 Chengdu, China. He is a member of various professional bodies IEI, IASE, ISRMTT, ISTE (India), IAENG (England), CSTA (USA) and IACSIT (Singapore).
